Live Jury Trials in the Time of Covid: Lessons from the Front Lines

LCA WEBINAR SERIES
November 5, 2020
1PM EDT

The Litigation Counsel of America is pleased to present “Live Jury Trials in the Time of Covid: Lessons from the Front Lines” featuring John Zavitsanos and Collin D. Kennedy, moderated by LCA Senior Fellow Adam Arceneaux.

Program Overview

Jury trials largely came to a halt across the country in the spring of 2020- but a few courts re-opened in the summer with new Covid-related protections in place. One such court was the U.S District Court for the Eastern District of Arkansas. LCA Senior Fellow Carol Owen, in-house counsel at TeamHealth, tapped LCA Fellow John Zavitsanos to lead the trial team – and the result was a $9.4 million verdict in favor of the plaintiff, a TeamHealth provider group. Senior Fellow Adam Arceneaux leads this inter-active program in which John and Collin share lessons they learned about how to try a case despite a global pandemic.
