2023 Spring Retreat

Santa Rosa Beach, Florida

The LCA 2023 SPRING RETREAT will be held April 23-25, 2023, at the WaterColor Inn & Resort on the pristine, white sand beaches of scenic Highway 30-A. This is a different kind of conference, with a greater emphasis on networking, in a more relaxed setting. There will not be a formal gala this time, but rather a more casual atmosphere with our traditional advanced educational aspect. The retreat is designed for Fellows of the Litigation Counsel of America to enhance their already superior trial skills, to address practical issues and topics challenging litigators in today’s changing legal environment, and to afford each individual the opportunity to hear from and interact with North America’s finest trial and appellate lawyers.

Participants will be provided with advanced tools for continued success and expertise in trial techniques, evidence presentation, courtroom technology, case evaluations and marketing, as well as negotiations and alternative dispute resolution. The conference will give Fellows the opportunity to network with other distinguished attorneys from across North America, earn CLE credit and enjoy the beauty and charm of Florida’s Gulf Coast.

If you would like to give a presentation at this event or for more information, please contact Beth at Beth.Rich@Litcounsel.org or 212-724-4128.

Overlooking the sugar sands of scenic Highway 30-A, just a short distance from popular attractions including Seaside and Rosemary Beach communities, you will find WaterColor Inn & Resort, a warm family-friendly destination steeped in southern hospitality, history and charm. The resort hotel is situated on a stunning 500-acre community, tucked between the Gulf of Mexico and a coastal dune lake framed by a longleaf pine forest. Thoughtfully designed by architect David Rockwell and featuring a gorgeously renovated lobby, the Inn seamlessly marries the laid-back comfort of a classic beach house with the modern perks and indulgences of a luxury boutique hotel.

WaterColor experiences are inspired by our surroundings, from the coastal elegance of the 60 beachfront guest rooms and suites- plus an additional seven family suites recently completed- to the locally sourced menus and captivating Gulf views at the restaurants. Throughout the beautifully landscaped grounds, pebbled footpaths wind through picturesque parks and gardens, leading the way to a boathouse, tennis courts, shops, restaurants and a private beach.
