CONFERENCE OVERVIEW
The 2027 LCA Retreat will be held February 24-26, 2027, at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, Colorado, in conjunction with the 2027 Complex Commercial Litigation Institute (CCLI) Meeting. This is a different kind of conference, with a greater emphasis on networking, in a more relaxed setting. There will not be a formal gala this time, so you can leave your tuxes and gowns at home, but rather a more casual atmosphere with our traditional advanced educational aspect. The retreat is designed for Fellows of the Litigation Counsel of America to enhance their already superior trial skills, to address practical issues and topics challenging litigators in today’s changing legal environment, and to afford each individual the opportunity to hear from and interact with North America’s finest trial and appellate lawyers.
Participants will be provided with advanced tools for continued success and expertise in trial techniques, evidence presentation, courtroom technology, case evaluations and marketing, as well as negotiations and alternative dispute resolution. The conference will give Fellows the opportunity to network with other distinguished attorneys from across North America, earn CLE credit and enjoy the beauty and charm of winter in Colorado.

*Guests are invited to attend the Welcome Reception on Wednesday, February 24th and the Gala on Thursday, February 25th. Guests must be registered to attend LCA events.

CLSA Discounted Room Rates:
Classic Room: $249 per night plus taxes and fees
Junior Suite (limited): $399 per night plus taxes and fees
Rates will be honored three (3) days pre-conference and three (3) days post-conference, based on availability at time of reservation. Rooms are limited and on a first-come, first-served basis. Making your reservation early is strongly suggested. If room block capacity is reached, the LCA rate will not be guaranteed and may no longer be available. Any requests for special room arrangements should be made at the time of the reservation.
Please familiarize yourself with The Broadmoor’s cancellation policy, as the LCA is not responsible for any hotel cancellation fees, hotel deposits, or other hotel charges.

The LCA Retreat registration fee is fully refundable for cancellations received on or before Friday, January 8, 2027, OR the total fee may be credited to a future LCA event. Due to the financial commitments made to the hotel by the LCA, cancellations received on or after Saturday, January 9, 2027, are non-refundable. Substitutions may be made at any time without charge.
